We work within our ecosystems through rotational grazing and intentional brush management to raise food and increase soil health so we can increase local biodiversity.
HISTORY OF THE FARM
We purchased our first piece of farmland in 2010. The homesite of Todd’s great-grandparents, FJ and Clara Neumann originally purchased this land in 1909.
The heart of our farm has been in our family for six generations and historically was used as a homestead and for raising cattle, row crops, and families.
We have since expanded to other properties in Falls and McLennan County, creating a mosaic of wild spaces to nurture our apiaries (and other pollinators!), cattle herds, and the native wildlife of the Blackland Prairie.
